How to Turn off Moving Faces in Group FaceTimeMonday May 4, 2020 10:00 AM PDT by Tim HardwickIn iOS 13.5, Apple introduced a new Group FaceTime feature that's disables the option that automatically enlarges the tile of the person
In iOS 13.5, Apple introduced a new Group FaceTime feature that's disables the option that automatically enlarges the tile of the person who is speaking.
By default, FaceTime has a dynamic view with a tile for each person. The person who is speaking at the current time has a larger tile, while tiles for people who are not talking fade into the background. Apple refers to this as Automatic Prominence.
However, with people recently using group FaceTime chats more than ever before, Apple appears to have realized that this behavior is not a great experience, especially when a large number of people are on a call.
In iOS 13.5 and later, the feature can be turned off by following these simple steps.
Launch the Settings app on your iPhone or iPad.
Tap FaceTime.
Under Automatic Prominence, toggle off the switch next to Speaking.
A grid with static image sizes for all call participants is likely to prove better for meetings and events where several people are talking at once or right after one another. It also mimics the layout options available in Zoom and other video chatting apps.

The iPhone Duo's inner screen has an under-display front camera that's largely hidden from view. It's the first time we've seen an under-display camera on an iPhone, and it turns out there's a reason Apple hasn't used the technology before.

Some iPhone Duos are already experiencing hinge issues that cause display cracks, based on photos shared on Reddit and the MacRumors forums. Almost all of the display faults are right along the hinge, and most result in a line of bright pixels across one side of the screen.
An iPhone Duo owner in Australia said his device cracked after being opened fewer than 20 times, and there was no...
